Sarah and her husband, Bryan, live in Fairfax just outside of the City of Falls Church. Bryan is from Northern Virginia and was excited when Sarah moved here to manage Tupelo Honey Cafe in Arlington. She fell in love with Lost Dog Cafe months later and has now been with them for most of the last 6 years running the McLean, South Arlington, and Dunn Loring locations, as well as Cowboy Cafe.

She is a proud member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Board Member for the Arlington/Alexandria County chapter of the Virginia Restaurant Lodging and Travel Association as well as the President of the Restaurant Component of Virginia Restaurant Lodging and Travel Assoc, board member for Visit Fairfax, National Association of Women Business Owners Advocacy Chair and Board Member, Vice President Fairfax Rotary Club, Falls Church Chamber, the Black Chamber of Commerce, Vienna Business Association, Merrifield Business Association, and the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce where she serves as an ambassador. Sarah is always looking for new social groups with political and philanthropic goals.

Westover Taco is her first restaurant.
